Young Thug turned himself int to Georgia authorities on Tuesday after being wanted on felony drug charges. He’s being held without bail, but he’ll see a judge on Thursday during a hearing that will decide if he’ll be allowed to post bail. May he should consider letting these extra streams or revenue go and find something else to do.
As TMZ first reported … there was a grand jury warrant out for Thug’s arrest in DeKalb County after he was indicted on 8 felony charges … including possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and weed.
According to Billboard, the 27-year-old’s charges stem from a September 2017 arrest, when he was found with a number of different drugs and a gun in his vehicle after police pulled him over in Brookhaven, Georgia for having tinted windows.
Young Thug’s also been charged with possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine (2 counts) and a firearm. Cops say they found the drug cache in his car when they pulled him over last year …all this again, because he had tinted windows.
Young Thug was scheduled to perform as a guest at J. Cole’s KOD concert in Denver, Colorado on Sept. 10, but reportedly did not show, XXL reports, with the most popular theory being that he departed early to face his charges in Georgia.
