Season 5 of BET‘s The Game finally has a premiere date, so get ready to mark your calendars. BET has set the launch date for Tuesday, January 10th at 10 p.m. I can’t wait!!

Big K.R.I.T.
The Mississippi-born rapper/producer made his mark with a string of mixtapes, including K.R.I.T Wuz Here and Returnof4eva. In 2011, he was featured on the cover of XXL magazine as one of its “freshmen” artists to watch.
Big Sean
As a Kanye West protégé, Big Sean struck a chord with his mixtape releases, including his Finally Famous series. His official singles like “My Last” featuring Chris Brown and “I Do It” hit radio hard.
Frank Ocean
A member of the lively OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) collective, this R&B singer/songwriter released his debut Nostalgia, Ultra to rave reviews. He can also be heard on the Jay-Z/Kanye West collaboration Watch the Throne.
Diggy Simmons
The progeny of legendary rapper Run, of Run-DMC fame, Diggy was introduced to the world through MTV’s Run’s House. He has since emerged as a rap talent in his own right, dazzling skeptics with freestyles and his official single, “Copy, Paste.”
Tyler, the Creator
Tyler, the Creator is the ringleader of the California-based rap collective OFWGTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All). His Goblin disc pushed the envelope with provocative language and shocking antics.
Wiz Khalifa
Wiz Khalifa stormed onto the field with his smash single “Black and Yellow,” which became the anthem for his hometown Pittsburgh Steelers. The smoke-filled lines on his debut album (Rolling Papers) have made him the life of the party.

Rumors are swirling former VJ Free will land her own show on BET! Network execs are looking to fill the spot Mo’Nique’s show left vacant. For those who don’t know, Free spent 5 years co-hosting BET’s 106 & Park with AJ. She’s currently co-hosting “The Big Tigger Morning Show” on Washington, DC area radio station WPGC 95.5 FM, alongside Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan, 6am-10am weekdays.
