Police Seeking Rapper Q Money Over Brutal Murder Of Another Artist In Georgia
Rising Cleveland rapper Q Money is a wanted man after being charged with murder in Georgia. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the rapper was involved in a dispute inside of a home in South DeKalb County, Georgia on Monday.
Apparently, Q Money, born Qamar Williams, was staying with three other individuals, including the victim, who is also from Ohio. One of the roommates was awakened by a commotion and found Q Money standing over the man’s lifeless body, still holding a gun.
The roommate ran upstairs and woke up the victim’s cousin, and they forced the weapon from Q Money’s hands and pushed him out the front door of the residence.
He was arrested a short time later and charged with first-degree murder. Q Money signed with Warner Brothers last year and ran into trouble almost immediately. Gunfire broke out on the set of his video shoot in Cleveland, at the DPG Dog Pound bar in July 2018.
Six people were wounded in that shooting and one person was killed. Two people were charged, but prosecutors dropped both cases against the men, while the killer of 27-year-old Cortez Ruffin remains on the loose.
Last week, Q Money dropped a new single titled “Neat” featuring Young Dolph, Peewee Longway, and YFN Lucci.
