Donna Brazile Being Sued For Knowing More Than She Let On About The Seth Rich Murder

Jack Burkman, lawyer, community activist and director of The Profiling Project, filed a lawsuit in October 2017 against Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee. On Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, Burkman announced he is now including Donna Brazile, the former interim DNC chair.

This action comes as a result of her dropping two bombshells in her new book, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House, that speak directly to what happened to murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich and the role the DNC allegedly played to ensure Hillary Clinton won the primary over Bernie Sanders.

Burkman, who established the independent The Profiling Project to discover the truth about Rich’s unsolved murder, says by filing a lawsuit Brazile will be forced to say what she knows—under oath. “If this were a random murder like police have maintained, why did Ms. Brazile fear for her own life,” Burkman says in a statement. He believes Brazile can clearly also offer critical information about what role the DNC played in Clinton’s primary win.

The lawsuit was scheduled to be filed by 8:00 am on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. It will compel former DNC chair Brazile to tell what she knows about the murder and explain why she feared for her own life. Brazile dedicated the book to Seth Rich, wrote about the murder and has provided incomplete information about what she knows, according to the statement to press.
